To meet the food needs of a growing world population, it will be necessary to optimize agricultural production, increasing the efficiency, quality and sustainability of plantations. If we want to achieve these objectives in fruit growing, we must be able to know the amount of fruits of each tree to predict the harvest and to know which ones have less production. Counting the number of apples produced by each tree in an agricultural plantation can be an unfeasible task if done manually.
